Meet Jordan Pettiford, now a Columbia University junior, a reporter and editor on the staff of the student newspaper, The Spectator, and a contributor to Untextbooked. Starting with Ida B. Wells, her own journalism-hero-inspiration (then mine, Nellie Bly), Pettiford synthesizes the 180-year history of women in the field, striking Undaunted‘s every major chord in less than 30 minutes. I’m happily just the foil. Transcript PDF also below.
